ArtScape Juried Art Show Regulations and Specifications
*This exhibition includes two different categories and will be juried separately as such: adult (18+ and no longer in high school) and student (grades 7-12).
*The entry form must be completed in its entirety at time of drop-off. Please, keep your receipt, as it must be presented at pick-up.
*Artwork must be dropped off at The Grand Center for Arts & Culture, 210 N Minnesota St., New Ulm, MN 56073 during specified hours.
*Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces of artwork. 2D and 3D work will be accepted for consideration. No installation pieces or artwork created by more than one person will be accepted. Artwork must be original work completed within the last 5 years. No work previously exhibited at The Grand in a juried show may be submitted; these works will NOT be accepted. Works accepted into the show may not be withdrawn, for any reason, prior to the close of the show.
*All works submitted must be “exhibition ready”. All works must be structurally and visually complete for presentation. 2D works must have weight-appropriate hangers attached prior to submission. Hangers must be compatible with The Grand’s hanging system. There will be an opportunity at drop-off to adjust any hangers as needed.
*A qualified juror will be selected to curate the show and to designate awards. The number of pieces accepted, and the criteria used to make the selections will be determined by the juror in the interest of creating a cohesive show. The identity of the juror will not be made known until the opening reception.
*After the show closes, artwork must be picked-up on the designated dates unless special arrangements are made.
*You may choose to offer your work for sale. The Grand Center for Arts & Culture will receive a 30% commission for each piece sold during the exhibition. Please price your work accordingly.
