This is a historic binding that was common in medieval Germany. These beautiful books feature decorative exposed sewing on the spine and offer limitless possibilities for variation and creativity. Our version will be made with a stiff handmade paper cover and leather spine support. Basic bookbinding experience preferred, but not required. (ages 15+)
